So, this is what I would call my first bad day after surgery. Today my head hurt somewhat like a migraine. I tried hard to shake it without the use of prescribed pain meds or OTC. Finally I gave in. I took two Tylenols. It helped ease but did not entirely relieve the pain. At first I attributed this to the change in weather, then to maybe getting sick, and finally decided it is symptom of withdrawal. I stopped taking the pain meds last night. My frustration is the amount of bloating I get from the constipation the meds produce. I know, TMI, but I share what I can to help another. So I think my headache is from me not taking the prescription pain meds. I would rather hurt a little than experience the side effects. I am hoping tomorrow these symptoms will have disappeared. Not bad for a first bad day. I know there will be other days, but I will get through them like I did today. I have faith that God, my healer, is with me.
