So this is where the United States is today in terms of scientific study and reporting, where results are determined as much by how much an aggrieved party is willing to spend on lawsuits (perhaps frivolous) to stop publication, instead of on actual science to try to refute the results that the party is unhappy with? Kind of reminds me of the veggie-libel and beef-libel cases of several years ago. So we will never be able to actually judge the science, only the lawyers. Add to that, the population is so science-illiterate, in general, that it could barely do so competently if results were all presented and available. Yay! once again the USA comes in somewhere around #17 among the nations of the world, as we do in education, health care, etc. USA! USA! Were #17! Yaaay!
