I dont know if there are BMC interns doing this as well, but so far the numerous pictures of fresh interns taking selfies with their scrubs on, while inside an operation theatre is shameful to the entire medical profession! How would you feel if you were waiting to be operated on and there were a bunch of idiots taking pictures? And whats the big deal about this anyway. If youre actually a doctor you will spend a portion of your life attending or observing or doing surgeries. Its a part of training. Should be the most basic thing you do everyday, like reading books and giving exams. Why the need to publicize it on social media? Lets not even get started on the legal issues and how doctor patient confidentiality gets compromised.
