So this week I have been helping out at a VBS (Vacation Bible School) at another church because of reasons. Since it started on Sunday I have: 1) Worked in the kitchen and figured out how to turn on a oven (but afterwards I was mostly there for moral support since my version of cooking involves a microwave) 2) Switched to leading a small group of first grade boys (who for the first day punched me in the family jewels enough that I now have an idea what I put my father through when I was a bratty little 5 year old and am truly sorry for every bit of it) 3) Got chased down the hallway by a blob monster while leading one of the boys to the bathroom only to then turn around and chase the monster back into the time machine that it escaped from (no, I am not making that up) 4) Learned several dances and songs well enough to know that I will have them stuck in my head for the rest of my life (at least I got a little sign language out of it) Wonder what is in store for me for the next to days of VBS?
