So this week has been an emotional roller coaster full of excitement, new experiences and well, plenty of tears on my part! Yes, you guessed it, my first son, Atlas, started the big K this week. It was nerve wracking but of course exciting all in the same time for everyone in our house. Atlas picked out his own clothing, his own sneakers and helped pack his Superman backpack. As we waited for the bus I asked the typical mom question of What do you want to be when you grow up? His reply... after much thought... A police man, wait no, a NINJA, WAIT WAIT NO... *delay* Can I be a Ninja Turtle?! Mrs. D. you have some serious goals to accomplish with him this year... hats off to you! Here are a few photos to document the moments before he stepped on to the bus and was off to start his year as Class of 2027 at Central Columbia.
