So this week is Food Allergy Awareness Week, and its been so crazy here Ive forgotten to mention it!! But heres an email I received that Id love to share with you all... from Simone: In support of educating people about Food Allergies my son and our family are launching my sons food allergy blog this weekend in the lead up to Food Allergy Awareness Week May 12-18. His blog webpage is: oliverschoice.au Olivers blog endeavors through education to support other children like him, that are in the same situation as him. Oliver is 8years old and had a near fatal anaphylactic reaction at 7 months when attempting to transition him from breast milk to formula. He is lucky to be with us today. We are thankful, appreciate and value everyday that we get to share with him. Through Olivers day to day challenges he is educating others and hopefully at the same time helping others stay safe and showing them that anything is possible. Food allergies dont have to define you as scary as they can be but can strengthen you. We hope that Olivers Choice gives others the strength to support them in the choices they can make living with anaphylactic food allergies.
