So this weekend saw teams from all over the western cape competing in a first ... a 2 day SWAT challenge with day 1 being a timed game of entering the building and clearing 12 terrorists breaching doors disarming a bomb and finally extracting a hostage alive... (that was the idea anyways) unfortunatley the hostage was crouched behind a door that was breached by TRU Alpha squad and took a round to the chest haha, Day 2 consisted of team vs team games this was where the teams all either excelled or folded with some teams doing brilliant including our own ponts were deducted if a team member was shot or captured by the enemy team. At the end TRUs Alpha team came out on top with a stunning victory. TRU would like to thank the teams who commeted and attended the day and all marshalling staff and Rudolph Roux for organising a brilliant event.
