So this writing thing, right? I stumbled into it one rainy morning while I was supervising the detention room at our local middle school. There were no students, I was bored out of my mind, and so I began to write what would be published as The Distant Shore two years later. There was no plan, nothing, just the idea of a story. Now, nearly two years after Distant Shores release, I have written four more books, and Im working on #6. Heres what Id like to know: how does a writer know when its time to sit down, lock out the world, and start writing that book that hidden in them? Because even now, with book #6 well underway, its still a mystery to me. How did YOU start writing?
