So, to end a day devoted to the political gutlessness of Kurt Prenzler, I was contacted via Facebook by Doug Hulme, who is Kurt Prenzlers chief deputy. After I asked Doug the same questions that I asked Kurt Prenzler, Doug unfriended and blocked me. Im not asking unreasonable questions. Im simply asking him to justify his conduct in investigating elected officials from other counties. Im asking him why he organized a press conference before notifying law enforcement of what he has alleged, via insinuation, to be a crime. Why is Kurt Prenzler so resistant to oversight from his own County Board, but feels justified in overseeing the performance of a treasurer from another county? Their refusal to answer these simple question cause me to believe there is something very wrong with them and how they run the Madison County Treasurers office. Im disappointed and disgusted by their lack of candor, and frankly, their total lack of sack.
