So today I drove to the gas station to get some milk. I quickly get out with Nate and I hear a soft voice say Excuse me mam! I walk over to this little old lady, whos walking slowly from her car with a piece of paper. She asks me where Quincy St was (the gas station is on Butternut) I explain and then she says how shes been lost for 2 hrs from Grand Rapids and shes trying to find her granddaughters Grad party. I tell her to wait one second in her car and Ill get my milk and help her. She shows me the address and I decide to take her there (let her follow me) She has no smart phone or no cell.. period. I tell her Ill put the address in my phone and take her to the party. I drive into the driveway of the party, with her following me, I ask her if she knows the people and they welcome her with open arms 😊 She was so appreciative. I just really hope she makes it home 😁 I hate thinking about how something couldve happened to her (asking the wrong person for help, no cell phone..etc) Also that I will be old one day..Life goes faster than you think. She was tired, a bit scared and just flustered. Im glad I helped, but my heart just feels sad. Old age is a jerk, but we need it. Bittersweet I guess. Oh well..she made the party!!🎈🎉 lol
