So today I saw something I hope never to see again. It made me sad and scared at the same time. I was picking my granddaughter up at her high school and while I was waiting, the police arrived. They handcuffed a young boy and put him into the police car which was parked right next to my car. It was a horrid confrontation and I wasnt sure what to do or where to look. It was right next to me in the lot and my window was open. The boy was 14 and even tho I kind of know what it was about, Im not certain, so will not go Into that. I have seriously never seen anyone get handcuffed except on tv, guess I lead a sheltered life, but believe me, its not a good thing to experience. As I sat there with this unfolding around me, lots of police, a detective approached my car and asked me what business I had at the school. Thought I was going to throw up, could feel my ears burning and was shaking like a leaf. I explained that I was waiting to pick up my granddaughter and he asked what time she was expected, etc. felt like I was being scrutinized. I understand stand where he was coming from, but this is not something I ever want to go thru again. Sure hope this angry young boy can get his life in order before too much more time passes.
