So today I was walking back to the restaurant with my arms full and this homeless woman ran up and opened the door for me. I thanked her and went on in. Tonight out of boredom I went to McDonalds and bought apple pies and a hot chocolate. As I was on my way home I stopped at the stop light and saw her walking in a distance. I backed up and headed towards her. I rolled my window down and reminded her that she had opened the door for me today and asked if she wanted some apple pies and gave them to her. She was really thankful. It made me smile to give back to her, even if it was just a kind gesture. Doing something so small can make someones whole day.
