So today is my daughters birthday and her grandfather is making no concessions to allow me to see my daughter. He is in violation of the Judges orders that allows me Liberal Visitation.. The current situation was that he feels that Im a threat to the safety of my child. He alleges that my daughter said I hit her during a visit. This accusation comes conveniently a week before we go to court for custody, and I had fulfilled all the other requirements So this accusation throws a wrench into the works. The Court says Im allowed liberal visitation, but if the grandfather wants the visits to be monitored thats how its supposed to be. The only person he agreed to monitor the visits is my daughters mother. Now this puts me in a precarious situation, because we have a volatile history. So isnt it a little biased to allow someone with a obvious vendetta to have total control of the situation. I felt like I was being set up and everyone told me it was a bad idea. But I want to see my daughter, my hands were tied. Today, on my daughters birthday, Child Protective Services steps in an sees the writing on the wall and says that the mother is a bad choice in being a monitor for the visit. I ask if maybe, my daughters Godparents could monitor the visit, but the grandfather shot that idea down. He wont give me any suggestions on who he approves as a person to monitor the visit and I dont know anybody else here in Rochester. But Im the bad guy. They cant name one instance where I directly hurt my child. He is keeping his granddaughter from her father on her fourth birthday, with no inkling of compromise. But Im the bad guy.
