So today is my wifes birthday and all day I have thought about all she does for me and our family. I have tried to think of words to say to her to show how much she is appreciated and I havent found them so I will just share my thoughts. Ten years ago I was a young man just trying to find my way, stay straight, and be a Dad to 2 little girls. Then one day I got a text message that I had no idea would change my life forever. LOL I think we texted each other for a week or two before we actually talked to each other. She too was young and had her whole life ahead of her. Just about to graduate nursing school and could have said Im not ready for a man and two kids, but she embraced us from day one. She has stepped in and filled a role that she didnt have to do. She has had to deal with things that she hasnt deserved but has stood up and been a Mom when she didnt have to. Then on my 25 birthday she gave me the first of two boys that I love with all of my heart. She showed me the way to Jesus without ever pressuring me. She is the one that is up Everyday before Everyone and makes sure that we all have everything we need. She gets tired but keeps going. She is the one that stands in the gap for us spiritually when we need it. She is the one that when we need something its just natural to say Jamie where is or Momma where is this or I need this and she takes care of it. I dont know if any of this makes sense because Im not real good at sharing my feelings but I didnt want her day to end without me sharing with her, but I want everyone to know how hard she works for our family. Jamie I love you with all of my heart and God truly blessed me when he said you are the one for me. I know I dont tell you enough but you are my rock and my soul mate. I love you and I hope your day was blessed. You deserve a better day than you had no matter how good it has been. Love, Ted
