So today my house was broken into at 3:00PM... Items stolen are limited to all of our XBOX 360 assets... All of our WII assets... And all of Jils Jewelry none of which was of significant value... Authorities have been notified and an investigation has been performed... An investigator from Plymouth was driven down to conduct a search for fingerprints in areas disturbed by the break in. The investigator claims to have found good quality prints correlating to the intruder... The XBOX and WII serial numbers where known and have been reported as stolen. Microsoft indicates that if the device is connected to an internet source (It is automatic Wireless) they have a mechanism for reporting the location to the authorities... Our laptops were moved from the living room to our bedroom but were abandoned with their chargers on the bed. We think that they were still in the house when Jil got home and they were alerted by the garage door. Our neighbors had evidence of an attempted break in but were unscathed we think because they have dogs. All things considered, no one was hurt, nothing was broken, and we still have our laptops. They did however steal every mouse in the house so I am furiously using a touchpad like the cavemen once did. Wish us luck getting over this traumatic event, we SHALL be getting dogs soon.
