So today started like any usual Saturday, with me running a little late for work and putting knees to chest to clock in on time. But on the way I caught a woman and three big men to what appeared to be changing out a flat tire. My manager has been telling me to tell people when this happens to take it off the property and that its not allowed, and yet right as I was taking a breath to say that it was against the rules my stomach bottomed out and my heart beat picked up. I glanced back down and kept walking even faster to make it to the office without saying anything but could feel the men giving me dirty looks after they noticed my office clothes. Ten minutes later a call came in that all the tires were missing and sure enough the vehicle had been stolen and driven into the property to hide it. I made my statement with the police and I told them I felt bad for not saying anything to the people and calling it in too late but he assured me that people who were doing that in broad daylight were desperate, and desperate people were the most unpredictable and dangerous. Im not overly religious but I know God had something to do with keeping my big mouth shut for once and Im so grateful. Always be aware of your surroundings and the people in them before taking action.
