So today was our last day in Rome and our last day in Italy. We started the day with going on a long walk through Italy stopping at a random cafe that was for locals (3 times cheaper than cafes near all the touristy attractions) where we had some coffee then continued onto a random Piazza called Piazza Popolo ( Lauren, I got excited thinking it was your Piazza but then found out you spelled your last name differently. :( ...) from there, we walked back and got some random meats and cheeses from Italian marketplaces and made ourselves delicious sandwiches for lunch. After that, we met up for an organized tour of the Vatican. The Vatican is HUGE! Such interesting history and the sculptures and architect is just amazing. After that, Melissa and I went on a nice date to cap our last night in Rome. Tomorrow, we are taking the train up to Zermat, Switzerland to begin leg 5 of our journey. :)
