So today we dropped off bout 15-20 jackets at the Good Samaritan place. I cannot stop thinking of the people we saw hanging outside the building trying to stay warm around the lit pits. My intention was to (1) help and (2) show my sons how not everyone is as fortunate as we are and they should not take their privileged life for granted but it hit me way harder than I imagined. I just wanted to bring them all home and feed then and keep them warm. Im praying theyre warm and safe tonight.
