So today while helping behind the bar at a pub a normally DJ at they had a 81st birthday party and had hired there own DJ, now i have never seen a sid in person but i have heard stories and seen pictures. well this guys must have been the king of sids as 1. he turned up 2 hours late 2. when i saw him i opened the fire exit doors knowing that it helps out alot if you dont have to carry your gears miles, he brought in 2 active speakers, a laptop and controller ! i was like owe he ganna go and get the rest .... OH NO he starts setting up !!! so me feeling nice not wanting his gear to get wrecked offered him to use my stand, he was happy with this so i let him get on but when on of the other lads offered him his light the sid turned round and said oh well one of my speakers has blown and im only playing off one, so not wanting to wreck the ladies party i said yes he could use mine so in the end the sid was using my speakers my amp and two of my lights (inc leads). now i dont mind people using my things aslong as im there and can see its being taken care of, but this guy did not once say thank you !! i am just to nice for my own good tbh p.s. i was ganna get a picture but i didnt get a chance as the bar was busy
