So todays question or topic; How do a client find a list of reputable teams or groups who are serious about providing true and honest assistance to them? While there are plenty of lists on the web and society pages to list your group on so someone can look by state, but how does the client know that they can truly put their full trust behind these people. In some cases they are blindly searching for a group and go to the listed first for their state and one that lists their State name in the group title. There is no Angies List for this field that we have seen, where the client can input their feelings of the group used or the experience or lack there of with a group. There are so many groups anymore, many looking for fame and trying to be the next TAPS or Ghost Adventures that they will do anything, bash anyone and step on everyone to get what they think they deserve. While in most cases like this, they have no training, no clue and no respect for anyone else. They believe that the TV shows are factual and that is how an investigation is truly run. There is no respect for the spirits, for the ghosts, for the client and for other groups. Their egos will not allow them to see the truth, to understand the issues that they may cause and look at this as a competition, because for some unknown, completely mislead idea, they believe that they can get rich from this and its just a matter of time before the networks start calling and their YouTube videos get over a million views. They are not in this field looking for answers or to provide any kind of assistance or education or guidance, they are in this for the thrill, the adrenaline rush, the cheap scare. Problem being that the client does not know this and allows people like this into their home. These groups that do no follow up with the clients, dont leave a phone number to call, give unprofessional answers to the client when questioned and actually get defensive when called out. This is quite upsetting, as we are still dealing with one of these situations as we speak. We have been posting on it for a couple days and will continue to as this progresses. Usually its not an issue when contact by the majority of the clients, yet this time it is different. The clients trust was ignored, their privacy was invaded and made public on the groups page without consent, and now the word has gotten out about this property and just like movie cases (I.E.-The Conjuring) the clients property is being overrun by the curious and those thinking they have the right to be on the land and trying to gain access to the home. What is wrong with people? What happened to integrity, respect, honesty, dignity, class, professionalism, caring?
