So tonight I dined at Pure Food and Wine which is the Very Excellent Raw Food Restaurant run by Sarma Melngailis whose books I have shared with many of you. Last time I was here she gave me a tour of the kitchen, tonight we enjoyed a sumptuous meal including cheeses, ravioli, tacos, a wonderful crepe with asparagus, pear and pistachio cheese, German Chocolate Cake and an outrageously moreish Brownie Sundae- all washed down with a Sake-Tini (or 2..) absolutely divine. If you want to know what inspires me- this does!! ( I should point out that the lighting was very moody and not good for pix!)
