So true, especially # 1. I see this in some Paso trainers, they ramp up the punishment and take it personally if the horse does something they percieve as wrong. I dont use those trainers... Great article! Also like part about behavior being repressed but not going away. I have seen that with Paso horses that were trained harshly, that have issues. Another trainer or owner may be able to work through it but the behavior is still there, under the surface, and often does resurface at various times or if a change in ownership or handler.
