So we all know educators will never be paid or respected in society as we should so its nice when small things happen that make you feel appreciated! Store clerk and I were discussing my locket and hers (shes an Origami Owl fan as well) and she asked me if I worked full time as well. When I told her I am a principal she just about flipped backwards to say THANK YOU for taking care of our kids!!! I couldnt help but tell she story about parent who complained last week telling another one that I needed to just stick to principal work and stop trying to be the kids mom! Wth does that look like?
