So, we are at McDonalds and I order my food. They are a little busy but not more than usual at 5:45pm. Nothing goes wrong until I finish ordering. I slide the card to pay multiple times and nothings happening. People are lining up behind me. The girl taking my order is new but had to be left alone for a little bit due to the flow of orders. She signals and the manager comes over and he already looks annoyed. He suggests that I try again with a condescending tone then suggests the normal sliding the card this way and that, putting a plastic bag over it and whatnot. Then in all of his superior intelligence deducts that my card is the problem. I tell him that the machine wasnt even doing anything while this whole process was going on. He asks me if I had any cash or other cards because my card was not reading which I did not then said that he did not know what I should do because it looks like I cant pay for the food (that by this time was done and sitting next to the register by now). This entire time this guy has been waiting for his change that this manager had been holding in his hand. He looks down at his computer and then says he will be right back then gives the other guy his change. Goes into the back for about two minutes. Comes out and says something about the server being down (wasnt really listening to this guy because I was really annoyed with his crappy attitude). He told me to not worry about it this time, we got away with a free meal today...
