So, we found Fanny, but lost two hours of our time in the process.. Let me start off by congratulating Cecil Pinto for adding an authentic touch of Goan-ness to the film. You could make out the influence. The cinematography was great too. But, the whole essence of a road movie was lost in over the top acting. The only saving grace, if you could call it that, was Naseeruddin Shah and for some parts, Dimple Kapadia. The cliches of this genre were there, but again, it seems that they were there because they had to be, not because the story called for it. The script was too loosely written, the comic lines quite contrived. On the whole, two words - utterly pointless
