So... we have to meet with Brendans principal this morning. His behavior has been relatively good for about 2 weeks, and after having a perfect day with all 2s yesterday, he chose to round out the afternoon by getting into it with another kid and telling that kid he was going to kill him:/ Of course, we know he didnt mean it and the principal knows that as well, but its gotten to the point where he will be suspended. This is not a political outcry against anything... today this is just a frustrated mom saying what the hell am I gonna do with my little monster? Brendan sees his adhd doc regularly, weve tried medications (the one hes on has been working, but it only works temporarily each day), we talk to him, we have clear lines of right and wrong, weve contacted a counselor... What else is there to do?? (And yes we have tried the good old fashioned ass whooping, which does not in any way work.)
