So we make it to tri cities and planned to park rv in jojos nice - TopicsExpress

So we make it to tri cities and planned to park rv in jojos nice long driveway and be able to plug in. Well the driveway is plenty long but she also has a beautiful big ass tree that hangs across the driveway and its pretty low. Now Im not the one with the PhD but its obviously apparent to myself without even the use of any official measuring device that the beast on wheels could never fit below limbs that are fence height no matter how you say you are going to angle park it on a driveway that is 10 ft wide with tree covering more than half of it. Since the new solar system would be in danger of any such failed attempt I just have to say I am completely in disagreement of even attempting such a maneuver, especially in the dark. I also wasnt privy to the apparent drop then sudden incline of the approach to the driveway from the busy street. I suggested ever so kindly that we just park it at the adjoining vacant school lot for tonight and figure it out in the morning. Anyways I just wanted to go inside and visit with the grandkids that were showing up. I was inside expecting mike to just park and come in but instead was told he needed me to help give directions. (Didnt I just do that??) I step outside in time to see mike attempting to pull the beast up the driveway but at least he stopped as he got to the bigass tree canopy. He made the mistake by asking me what does it look like? Seriously?I say; It looks to me like some dumbass husband and wife have an obvious failure to communicate and it looks like if you pull just one more foot forward, you get to buy another new window and solar panels and frankly I dont think your duct taped wipers are going to survive this either..then he says to add to it...when I back out of this, tell me what that noise is in back... I rush to the back and he has the towbar scraping its way because of the dip and incline. I shout oh hell please stop!! I cant get too upset though because I myself fell victim to the perils of bottom drag with our first rv but it was frustrating because he had finally learned to disconnect the truck before attempting new maneuvers, why not take an extra 2 minutes to remove the towbar from the hitch so it doesnt get all bent to hell. We are now in the parking lot for the night and if the truck can still be hooked up with that towbar, I hope we still travel in a straight line! :-)
