So we stumbled across the following, from a source who is definitely anti-Catholic. In this post, he states: **************** I accept the Bible as the inerrant Word of God. I accept the Bible as the ultimate authority. I use the Bible as my standard of living. I use the Bible to instruct others on how to live. I preach from the Bible. I speak from the Bible. I reference it constantly. I accept it as truth, regardless of how that feels. **************** Based on this, he should then... 1) Accept that the Bible did not fall from the sky, that is was inspired by GOD, written by said authors, and compiled and preserved by early Catholics 2) Accept that the Bible itself, states that the Church has the FINAL say, not the book 3) Hooray... as we ALL should use the teachings in the Bible as the standard of living... 4) Hooray... we should help others understand the teachings (obviously, without the yelling and screaming and with the proper interpretation) 5) Hooray... preach away! Just make sure you are not providing people with your own interpretation, or that of any of the "reformers" 6) Hooray... speak away! --- See item #5 regarding proper translation 7) Good... reference all day long! --- Again, see #5 regarding proper translation 8) Accept that the Pillar and Foundation of TRUTH is the Church... not the book, as the book even says so itself.
