So were off Cap de la Hague and we can see the first of the Channel Islands: Alderney. Weve had a bit of tough day yesterday: cant believe the number of course changes we made because of traffic. Most of the day was fantastic sailing weather, but we had a few squalls at night with up to 27 kts of wind. No problems, reefed on time. Onno saw a pod of about 8 dolphins. Although we have just about arrived at the right window for the Alderney races, we will take the long route around Guernsey. We have a small engine problem - she still works but we dont want to stress her. Salsus is sailing fantastic and spirits are great. But we are tired. Well take it easy and should make Jersey by late afternoon.
