So were still on a level one evacuation, but it sure doesnt feel that way. We see smoke coming over the ridge in front if our house, not a plume from water dumps, but actual smoke. The helicopters are going over that ridge too. The level two evacuations start a half mile away...although the fire is much farther. I sure hope reality and how it feels are two different things. Jeff is out watering the woods next to the house, the boys are cutting weeds down, and Im figuring out what we need to prepare if we go to a level two. Where should logic fall in this situation...caution or over reacting....thinking ahead or over thinking... Having a fire a mile or two away with the wind forecast for tomorrow is....fill in the blank. Ok, in fine complaining and being irrational, back to logic and prepping. Thanks for listening.
