So were tooling along having a discussion via the internet. Disagreement arises. Comments are made. Feelings get twinged, people on both sides get a bit out of sorts. Ah, shit happens. Still the conversation continues and then the really bright person on the other side pulls out the inevitable trump card. You know the one. The card that beats all argument, cancels out all evidence, logic and actual proof. Its the card that says: You can go on and on but you lose because you havent convinced me (or anyone - some cards have slightly different text) that youre right. So, you lose, but god bless you anyway. Oh, well, since youve put it in those terms and tossed in a little blessing .... uh, wait, how does that go again? Oh, yeah, I get it. Im an idiot (a well blessed one) because I couldnt convince you and your circle that I was right. Ill wait here, see if you can catch up............Need a little help? Ok, but only if youre sure. Really? you want some help. Alright, but remember youre getting this from the idiot. Who did you convince? We were in that discussion together. I noticed no one from my circle and certainly not me hoping on the next ship to your part of crazy town. So that trump card, the one you played with all the fineness of a ham fisted nose picker - perhaps theres another reason your higher power placed it where you would see it. Perhaps it isnt really a trump card after all but just another delusion. Whats that? Still dont get it. Well, all will be revealed Im told.
