So what was it that pushed me to reach out to my friend since 7th grade, Melissa Moran Darby, & ask her about Plexus. A few things, #1 I know her character & I knew she wouldnt promote anything that wasnt healthy, good & true. #2 I was desperately looking to change my life without going back to work but I never thought Plexus would be our answer! #3 Her testimony. Im going to share that with you now, its long but please read it. I hope it touches your heart like it touched mine. ************************************** Background: Nathan Darby has been a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 8...now, his blood sugar have stabilized and he is using 40% less insulin! My name is Melissa and I wanted to share a bit more about my husband’s success with Plexus to you, which has turned into our success story. Nathan, my husband of 13 years, is a type 1 diabetic and is 37 years old. Nathan has needed to lose weight for years. He eats fairly well but he has been a Type 1 diabetic since the age of 8. It has been incredibly hard to lose weight and his metabolism has been in a huge rut despite our best efforts (trust me, weve tried it all!) What brought us to Plexus? He came home from an Endocrinologist appointment in April 2013 scared to death. He is super laid back and not easily upset so when I saw his fear and seriousness, I knew something was terribly wrong. His Endocrinologist said, You are overweight, you have been diabetic for 29 years and dont manage your blood checking well enough. Your blood sugar numbers are all over the place and as you know the combination of high blood pressure, cholesterol and working in a high stress job environment is a recipe for trouble. You are a walking time bomb. Its not a matter of if something is going to happen to you, its a matter on WHEN. Nathans uncle passed away in his early 40’s due of type 1 diabetic complications…and this all hits way too close to home for both of us. The average life expectancy for a type 1 diabetic can be 20 years less than a non-diabetic. This was the wake up call Nathan needed. Weve tried low carb diets, running races and even have a DAD dog (Diabetic Alert Dog). Granted, he would lose a couple pounds with our “spurts of efforts” but the weight always came back on. I saw a post on Facebook about Plexus in April 2013 from my dear friend. I checked into it and when I heard it could help stabilize blood sugar levels and was developed for diabetics, I was intrigued. Nathan tried the samples and a week later I signed up as an Ambassador. I saw right away that becoming an Ambassador was the smartest and most cost effective way to go.
