So while I was at Club Day, several people ask us where we got our awesome loot. So Ill just throw out some recommendations: 1) AmiAmi (amiami/) - Stuff here will be delivered to you straight from Japan. There is a pre-owned section where you can get good deals. It is very pricey when you factor in shipping and tax. (Recommend you to have it delivered to a relative or friend whose studying abroad in Japan and get them to bring it back when they return.) 2) Kinokuniya Bookstore - Located on Mitsuwa Marketplace, 675 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA 95129. Its a decent place if you want to buy small anime things like key chains or phone straps. (Got my Kongou phone strap here) 3) Kinokuniya Bookstore - Located on 1581 Webster St, San Francisco, CA 94115. Very far away, but worth it. Its bigger than the one in San Jose. It has an ENTIRE floor dedicated for anime and manga. 4) Anime Palace - Located on 500 Laurelwood Rd Ste 8, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Its basically a warehouse with anime goods, they sell their stuff at conventions too. 5) Tatsu Hobby - Gundam and mecha model kits. I extremely highly recommend you to go here to buy your model kits. The Gundam model kits youll find here are all very good deals, its cheaper than most hobby shops youll find, including online websites by LONG SHOT; its not even funny. 6) Legends - Located on 10123 N Wolfe Rd Ste 2108 Cupertino, CA 95014. Its inside the Vallco Mall and its not that far from De Anza. Weiss Schwarz. Theres a small section of anime and manga. Weiss Schwarz. They also have a card shop for Yugioh, Vanguard, Weiss Schwarz (Anime card game), etc. Oh yeah, and Weiss Schwarz. 7) Good Smile Company (goodsmile.info/en/) - The creators of figmas, nendoroids, and good looking scale figures. Very expensive, but its worth it because you are directly ordering it from the maker itself. 8) Amazon/Ebay/Online - Just be careful, that vendor selling that brand new, unopened, +100 dollar figure for 40 bucks could be selling a bootleg. (See Sader, the bootleg Saber from Fate/Stay Night) 9) Anime Conventions - Dealers Hall and swap meets. (Fanime) 10) Feel free to put some recommendations.
