So while I was in Australia I also made a video for Freetel, a Japanese company that sells sim free smartphones and internet routers for people who travel abroad and need connectivity. It was SO helpful to have wifi on hand when I was travelling. The truth is that, even inside Japan, I dont use data on my phone and use a wifi router for all my social networking (and my phone plan is the cheapest plan available since I never really talk on the phone so much these days anyway.) Having a portable wifi router is amazing because it allows me to take my macbook air out and work from practically anywhere as well!
