So, while my computer decides to let me see the files I need to be using... (*sigh*) - the commute in this morning was fun. I woke up really early, but refused point blank to leave home at 4am; thankfully I managed to get some more shuteye on the sofa. At some point during my extended sleep, some muppet spilled chemicals on the M4. Fortunately, I checked the traffic conditions before leaving, and, not particularly fancying the 3 hour journey via the motorway, according to Google, I decided to try some back roads - oddly Goog wasnt going to give me an alternative route until I deviated sufficiently from the nightmare journey it had planned for me, but it got there in the end. So, an hour later I got to J13, via the A417 (with road closures) and some other minor roads (several with roadworks closing off 1 lane of an-only-just-two-lane-road), to the A34 and onwards. So I made it in about 1:45, but I have to say, although I am generally not a fan of motorways, this morning made me think how lucky I am that most of my journey is normally on one... And my PC still wont show me my files... time to kick it :-)
