So while my team in busy losing, in NOT football news- HOLY SHIT was Guardians of the Galaxy good! Definitely my 2nd favorite movie of the year so far, right behind X-Men. Drax is AWESOME. I think that whole cast should get nominated for best ensemble, although I know it wont happen. The scene that stole the show for me was the VERY end, after the credits- *spoiler alert*- Andrea Amanda, your boy James Gunn just went up 10 points on my coolness scale. People dont even realize how freakin genius that scene was, but I caught it! The Collector was drinking an ASPARAGUS martini to recover from the explosion! HAHAHAHA!! Get it?! Asparagus contains some of the most powerful phytochemicals on the planet! The Glutathione in it is the best for detoxification of the liver, kidneys, etc!! It makes such perfect sense for the Collectors character that he would drink something like that after what he went through. I got it! Score one for the health nuts! YOU THE MAN James!! HAHAHAHA!!! Not to mention, his drinking buddy is fantastic.
