So, while you are hearing on the news about ISIS and the growing threat there. Something remarkable is happening. A constituional amendment is in the works to overturn Citizens United and limit campaign funding...NOTHING MORE! However, I love it how almost every Republican Senator thats on the floor right now on C-SPAN says this amendment would restrict free speech somehow. So, let me get this straight. Money is speech right? That means if I go down a highway at a 120mph and get pulled over by a cop. I should be able to give him a thousand bucks and be on my way if he accepts. Oh what!? Thats bribery! AND ITS ILLEGAL!! I thought this grand that Im waving in front of you was MY FREE SPEECH! How DARE they restrict AND prosecute ME for just speaking my mind through my wallet!? Money isnt free speech people....its a resource that gets us things that we want and need in exchange for hard work. Nothing more, and yes....politicans are being bribed to do things for the campaign contributors instead of representing the American people. THATS unconstitutional.
