So why are we always quick to defend ourselves as moslems but always good at adopting Christian concepts of life or call it western life whenever the need arises to exhibits the true Moslems as we are? Its unfortunate seeing postings of moslem marriage pictures on various social media of our young ladys dressing as christians when it comes to marriage ceremony. I feel its about time our Mallams and family heads and the society at large wake up on that for its embarrssing. Instead of the true African cultural dresses that are always decent and attracting our young girls are now dressing like the Afias, Ama, Mavis etcetera. does at church weedings. If indeed, that is the way we want to go by abandoning our Islamic and African heritage, then we have to begin inviting Pastors, Evangelist, or Christian Prophets to witness and bless our marriages instead of wasting time inviting Mallams when we were not dressing as Moslems and projecting the Deen. Eeii! Cut and paste paaa!!!! Nei!! A very big shame on our integrity as moslems.
