So, why be in a challenge group? I can answer this best by telling you about my own journey....... I have been truly blessed to be the mother of 3 beautiful boys, ages 7, 4, and 2. They are spunky, active, and keep me on my toes daily. Oh, did I mention they are ACTIVE? It didn’t take me long to realize that having active boys meant mommy needed to be just as active, if not more! However, after the birth of my 3rd son, my energy levels were declining. I worked out almost daily, but my workouts were all the same, and I wasn’t seeing results. I ate as healthily as I could while on the go each day, but temptations were all around me, and I often gave in. Between my job as a teacher and full time mom, keeping up with daily tasks was getting tougher and tougher. I hold a strong belief that God created our bodies as a temple, but I wasn’t treating mine as such. I just couldn’t get motivated to commit to a program like I did after my first two pregnancies. I was slowly starting to have the “this is good enough” attitude. But, it wasn’t. It wasnt good enough for me or my family, especially the boys I needed to keep up with each day. I needed to commit....that was the only way to get the change I desired. So, about 4 months ago I reached out to my good friend Courtney, who is a Beach Body coach. I joined a T25 challenge group and also did a Shakeology challenge. THIS was the change I needed!! I saw awesome results from the program and not only began physically feeling like myself again, but my mindset was much more positive as well. I was part of an online support group of other people encouraging and inspiring one another daily. There was never the temptation to skip a workout or steer away from my eating plan because I knew others were counting on me just like I was counting on them! This experience impacted me so greatly that I decided to join this community as a Beach Body coach. I cannot put into words how excited I am to help others have the same life-changing experience that I had. I will not go back to the same old routine; my boys need better than that. They are my “why.” They are a gift from God and the reason I plug away every day. They are why I choose to be healthy and active. Taking the time to make myself stronger physically and mentally makes me more able to be the mother I aspire to be. I want to be active with them. When the daily football game is happening outside (or inside for that matter), I want to play also. I want to say “yes” when they ask me to be play monster and chase them around the house. I want to be around for years and years to come….to watch them grow and have families of their own. And now, I want to help others find their “why.” This journey is worth it. I promise you. Find your “why” and dig deep to make the commitment to stick to it. Message me for details on how to start your own journey to better health and wellness. I have 4 spots remaining for a challenge group beginning December 1st!
