So why is it so important to have accurate knowledge of the Bible? Allow me to illustrate it this way being that its tax season, if when preparing your taxes you place a number where it ought not be you could end up costing yourself hundreds or even thousands of dollars. The same way with Gods word the Bible. The Bible is Gods gift to mankind to allow us to Get to know him, his likes his dislikes and what he expects from those who claim to love him. It also explains what his purpose is for mankind and the earth. It tells us of the great sacrifice Jehovah God made by means of his beloved son Christ Jesus who died so all could have the opportunity to live forever on a paradise earth (psalms 37:10,11,29) by putting faith in Jesus shed Blood. Accurate knowledge is important because it informs us of what the proper an acceptable way of serving God is. Remember Jesus Said at Mathew 7:21-23 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness. So if you did all these great things in Jesus name why would he cast you away? well notice what he say at John 14:15, 21 “If you love me, you will observe my commandments. He Repeats it a verse 21Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. In turn, whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will clearly show myself to him.” So having ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE of the BIBLE we will follow Jesus commands to the letter. Search throughout the scripture and find where Jesus said to celebrate his birthday you wont find it, nor will you find his command to Celebrate any of the other holidays that I mention in the outset, Jesuss commands are clear and straight forward. He said to keep seeking first the Kingdom....Mat 6:33 and to Go therefore and make disciples Mat 28:19,20 Says Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things. So accurate knowledge is so important not only for our happiness but more importantly for our salvation.
