So with close to 20 riders on thursday, we rallied at rallys and with Cajun Eggnog daiquiris in hand we headed out to see some lights! We did a zig-zag tour through the McManisions of old metery, yea they were light up, but they looked as if no one really lived in them, then we crossed metry rd and into the hood, where at least it looked as if these home were lived in. We made our way w. Napoleon and through apartment city, then a quick fuel up stop. We then rolled into the park, coming in the back gives you one awesome view of the lights and the water, EPIC! We hung, we walked around, then biked around, truly a great time. We headed back at 9:45 and made it by 10:30,,,truly a great ride! We also did a Sunday Pop-Up ride, that we only did via TEXT {so get on he TEXT LIST if you are not on it already, as well be doing more of these,,,,,so with a dozen or so riders we met at the Roosevelt Hotel lobby enjoying the sights, then we made our way thru the FQ stopping at Congo sq, from there we zig-zagged our way thru the treme/7th ward and mid-city, stopping at parkway Poboys for some fuel. then we stopped at the carved tree, then onto city park for some more lights! two great rides, same great people! yall make every ride awesome!
