So, without saying too much because nothing is signed yet, I have written a few books and have been trying to get an agent on and off for almost three years. I signed with a certain publishing house last year and ended up going though somewhat of a bad time when this certain publisher made some changes that caused many of their authors, including me, to leave (thanks to HWA for stepping in). Now, I am currently being offered a certain deal from a certain big company that sounds great to me. However, even saying I have a deal pending with so and so, I still cannot get an agent to get past the subject matter. Where can I find agents that actually want to take on new horror clients? I feel like I have been through them all.
