So ya ready for a good OOPS story? Stopped at Wally World today (aka ~ Walmart) ~ to pick up the last (praise the Lord) 3 gallons of paint I needed. The gal in the paint dept. does a great job of mixing colors & today was no exception. Headed to the check out - & thats when the fun?? began. The check out clerk (who thank heaven was a sweetheart ~ youll understand in a second) rang all my purchases ~ while we chatted away... great customer service ~ & then she got to the paint ~ 1 gallon - then another gallon and then...and then.... she rang the last gallon - handed it to me....(ya ready?) and it slipped out of BOTH of our hands! OMG The lid popped off and this elegant shade of blue paint .......went every where!!!! All over the floor - all over the bag turn table.... and any where else it could find.....except for the clerk and me! (Lets praise the Lord again cause there was only about 1/8 of the paint left in the can!!) Time for the supervisor to appear on the scene. She looked at the clerk - looked at me and said~ Ive worked here for 25 years and Ive seen some messes, but I do believe this one tops them all! Think Ill take some pictures and post them. The clerk ~ who stayed calm, cool & collected the entire time assured me it was not my fault (oh thank you for eliminating any guilt) said she would call maintenance for clean up and asked the Super. if she should go to the next check out lane & then told me to have a good day!!!! (Told ya she was a sweetheart!) Me ~ I decided I would make a quick exit - after multiple apologizes - & get out of Dodge before maintenance showed up!!!! Note to self - you may want to avoid going to Wally World for a bit!!!
