So year 6 draws to a close and LAC is still rocking along. It has been as always a very interesting year and it certainly has had fair share of ups and downs. More up than down to be fair. We have said hello to some old players and also hello to plenty more new players. In addition for 2015 Taceval 1 airsoft will get another bash, taking on board all that has been taken from Tacevalers comments and thoughts. TACEVAL 2 will take place in 2015 and this will not be for the faint hearted and will be long and hard work, so be warned! haha This will be something vastly different from our normal events so watch this space. we will continue with be LAC away days. covering from Stirling, and hopfully tier1 and also the Airsoft show in 2015, details to follow. Our Help for Heroes drive has now raised in excess of £1500 (up £200 on the previous year) with monies put in buckets and pots of H4H supporters. Marshal training continues with more recruits wanting to get in on the action. So, on the cards for 2015: Weekenders X 4 site 2 overnighters x 2 at least site 2 More Marshals and an increase in Junior Marshals Taceval x 2 site 2 and site 1 TACEVAL 2 at site 2 ( possibly site 1) Junior Events LAC away events Team Competitions x 2 site 2 and CZ Night games at site 2 Hosted events such as EFAW Lets not forget pistol / shotgun days and members only days. lets not forget the 7th anniversary game at..... well £7 In total we hope to achieve Combat zone x 14 days site 2 x 28 days Site 1 x 4 days we have successfully negotiated cut price rates for Members and marshals wishing to qualify in Fully Accredited Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) In addition we will be running First Aid at Work (FAW) and First Aid Plus in 2015 I thank all who have come, played and added to the LAC experience. LAC is not a money making business as some may think. Everything goes back in to the club and everything has its place and its use. We take immense pride in what we try to achieve and its true that we dont always get it right and its true we are not to everyone taste. But we try and we try hard. All the staff at LAC are volunteers, giving up their time to add to each and every event and on a personal note I know that my family and I are eternally grateful to them for that. To all the players the derive enjoyment from LAC events, I thank you as you make it all worthwhile. So; To all who enjoy the thrill and excitement of airsoft. Lets have a great year.
