So yesterday I get a phone call in the middle of the day from Owens teacher. I was oh snap , everything OK? And it sure was. We are proud and want to announce Owen is student of the month of Oct. He will be mentioned at the Friday assembly and is so excited. I know your thinking big deal... Well for me it is. He was the first kid in the class to be picked and only 8 kids in the year get this honor. When she called I could not help but get a little teary eyed. Owen is so very special to us, he melts my heart everyday . So glad she sees this side of him. I will hopefully get a good pic and post it tomorrow.
