So yesterday I got the WORST haircut of my life. (I used a new stylist bc mine was off for the day.). I know I should just be thankful that I even have hair to begin with, and this is so shallow and petty of me...but for some reason Im traumatized! Every time I look in the mirror I cant help but scoff at the silly lady I see. And that lady is me! I look like a mousy librarian. My trusty stylist did her best today to salvage the situation, but I still look pretty dumb. This is a true example of how time is the best medicine. Its just gonna take a while to grow this disaster out. But I think this is good in a way...a metaphor of sorts. Im making the most of it. Im seeing that sometimes in life there are situations over which we have no control, and all we can do is proceed, and be happy anyways, and eventually the situation with have so gradually improved that we wake up one day and we cant even remember what the big deal was. (And maybe were even like Damn I look good! ( : )
