So yesterday I made these little earrings. They are gold filled hammered teardrops with gorgeous apatite gemstones. I love apatite as it has such an intense colour and looks particularly beautiful when light shines through it. According to pantone (who forecast colour trends-who knew? I thought it was an Italian desert!!) The two key blues for this Autumn are bright cobalt and royal blue-With its slightly green undertone, Bright Cobalt offers a subtle twist on the traditional cobalt blue, which unifies this season’s blues. Likewise, Royal Blue, which is both evocative and dignified, provides more complexity and excitement than the average navy, while still remaining versatile. I think apatite is at times both of these colours. What do you think? Will you be feeling the blue this Autumn?
