So yesterday I took my dog Max to Petsmart to get his nails trimmed. The babies are coming and cant have them getting scratched with his raggedy nails, anyway, they were doing a pet adoption thing there at the store. Before I adopted Max I had been trying to adopt another dog, a Mexican hairless named Stella. Unfortunately, Stella had a brother, Sam, I didnt seem to connect with Sam like I did Stella. When I contact S.P.A.Y.L.E.E. about adopting Stella they told me I had to take both dogs if I wanted to adopt. I wasnt ready for that so I just kept looking and eventually got Max. Well, lo and behold, Stella and Sam were at the Pet Adoption yesterday. I guess there have been several people who have tried to adopt one or the other dogs but now almost 2 years later, they are still at the shelter. They do look good but a forever home would be so much nicer for them. It breaks my heart to see them still there.
