So yesterday, Mattylyn took a tumble down the stairs....from the top stair! I was standing right behind her and was telling her to be careful and to use the handrail just as she turned and missed that first step. In my WHOLE LIFE I have NEVER been so scared. Even all those times being shot at, mortared and rockets blowing up all around us when I was deployed, I was never as scared or shook up as bad as I was watching her tumble end over end down the stairs. Ive never felt so helpless in my life, I just couldnt get to her. By the grace of God, she only wound up with a couple of scrapes on her nose but man, you talk about a scared daddy! I am thankful my God kept his protection on Mattylyn and everything turned out okay.
