So, you dont like soccer. Fine. No one is asking you to root for the USA just yet. Maybe we arent the best when it comes to this sport. Ok, thats cool. I ask you this: Where IS America better than everyone else? I mean, aside from American Football, Basketball, crippling deficit AND debt (separate things, I know), and fat people, Im drawing a blank. How arrogant of us as a nation to think were still tops in so many areas, when we arent. We finally start becoming more than just a joke to the other 31 teams that qualified (never mind the countries that didnt), but somehow were still a joke to our own fans. Well, here is where someone is asking you to pull together in the name of sports and the United States. Join me in rooting for our boys against Belgium.
